There are so many ways to serve locally through The Oasis, as well as getting involved in global efforts to spread the Gospel of Christ. Whether you feel called to O'Fallon or another continent, we want to empower you to do the work God has called you to. Get involved today!
Generosity
Donating your time is not the only way to serve at The Oasis. There are recurring costs to operating and staffing our ministry, as well as helping us do work throughout our community and the world. We believe that God calls us to give, and to give generously. We give you a chance to worship in this way on our website.
Discipleship
As Jesus left this world, his parting words to his disciples were: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." We challenge you to be willing to serve and make disciples with us.
Thinking Globaly
We want to be a presence in missions all over the world. We desire to do that by giving on a regular basis to men, women, and families who have dedicated their lives to reach the unreached. We do that by sending money through the cooperative program on a monthly basis. But also during the month of December, we take up special offerings that go directly to those on the mission fields all over the planet.
Also, we wish to be involved with a hands on plan. We want to send people to the world. Whether that be on short term mission trips, or lifelong assignments.
We desire partnerships with Missionaries so that we can pray and support on a regular, tangible level.
Thinking Locally
We want to be the hands and feet of Jesus right around us in our community.
Sometimes that will look differently. It might be working with different homeless ministries in our area. It might be helping local residents clean up in or around their homes. It might be helping children discover God's love in a summer camp. It might even be getting out into our neighborhoods and sharing the love of Christ.
We would love to have you join us in some of these efforts.
Serving On A Sunday Morning
One of the ways we pursue and live out this discipleship trait is through volunteer opportunities.
Sunday Gatherings & Connect Groups
Our Sunday morning gatherings are the beginning for most people at The Oasis. We need people who can serve as hosts and greeters, as well as members of the worship team and tech team. Small Groups are also a great place to connect and plug in. We are always in need of more people to host, lead and co-lead a group.
